The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into creative domains has redefined conventional notions of imagination, authorship, and artistic production. This study explores the evolving relationship between human creativity and machine intelligence, examining how AI acts not merely as a tool but as an active collaborator in generating art, music, literature, and design. Through a mixed-methods approach involving analysis of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, DALL·E, DeepDream, and AIVA, alongside user surveys and case studies, the research evaluates creativity based on originality, novelty, emotional impact, and usefulness. Findings reveal that AI contributes significantly to the expansion of creative possibilities while depending heavily on data-driven patterns rather than intrinsic intent. The study also highlights ethical and philosophical challenges, including authorship ambiguity, reproducibility issues, and societal perceptions of machine-generated art. It concludes that creativity in the age of AI is a hybrid and co-evolutionary process, where human imagination is amplified by computational intelligence. The paper underscores the need for developing explainable, ethical, and educational frameworks to guide the responsible integration of creative AI systems in future cultural, industrial, and academic contexts.
